‘That’s a lot of pink’ hand spun yarn

210g/7.4oz 2 ply handspun yarn

Medium weight / 11 WPI

100% merino, spun from dyed fleece from a now retired professional fleece producer based in Grafton, NSW. This has a barberpole effect with the two variegated colours plied together, and gives a speckled effect when worked into a finished piece. The colour changes are fairly long so the yarn will create some striping.

Semi-woollen spun from combed fleece. This makes a squishy warm yarn with fairly good resistance to pilling. Appropriate for items with moderate wear and tear.

Sold as two skeins together. Storing in skeins minimises the tension on the yarn strand, which means they stay bouncy! Wind into balls when you are ready to make your project.

This yarn has been gently hand washed in eco-friendly wool wash and stored in a climate controlled environment in a sealed tub. Please treat your finished piece with similar care to avoid felting and moth holes!
