It’s a little bit ‘country’, it’s a little bit like when the city cousin comes to visit in her leopard print. Quilted pot holders made from heavy duty cotton-rich and upholstery fabric remnants.

Quilted reversible pot holder, most with loop. Size may vary slightly, about 20cm x 20cm (7.8in x 7.8in)
Outer fabric is heat-resistant heavy duty cotton or cotton-rich fabric remnants. Pattern and patchwork placement varies on each pot holder. The backing is small scale blue gingham.
Middle wadding is rescued woollen matting used for packaging. This is very thick and heat-proof, and is biodegradeable. The strips of wadding vary somewhat in size, so the final size of the pot holders varies a little.
The binding is cotton fabric remnants in either cream and brown leopard print, or a black and autumn-toned floral fabric.

The stitching thread is 100% cotton golden yellow quilting thread.
Sewn on a vintage domestic sewing machine. This is no mean feat! These babies are THICK!
These pot holders have been washed using eco-friendly detergent and are ready for you to use immediately. When wet, they have a distinctive ‘wet sheep’ smell - this is the result of the remaining lanolin in the woollen wadding. During washing they may release some wool fibres which are easily removed using a lint roller.
A lot of care has gone into the design and making of these pot holders. I hope you love them!
