Bulky weight / 7 WPI
Cream undyed merino wool, blended with hand dyed silk. The silk blends into the yarn in a subtle variegated way, and gives a lovely shine. The silk colour changes are short so there will be minimal striping in the finished piece.
Semi-woollen spun. The silk is a very long staple length and is a strong fibre, which increases the yarn’s durability. This is a squishy warm yarn with fairly good resistance to pilling. Appropriate for items with moderate wear and tear.
Sold as a skein. Storing in skeins minimises the tension on the yarn strand, which means they stay bouncy! Wind into balls when you are ready to make your project.
This yarn has been gently hand washed in eco-friendly wool wash and stored in a climate controlled environment in a sealed tub. Please treat your finished piece with similar care to avoid felting and moth holes!
